Third Annual Pennsylvania Turkey Bowl Game Saturday, November 28, 2009 Richmond Boro Plainsmen vs Upper Perk Mohawks Games will be held at the UPPER PERKIOMEN HIGH SCHOOL, 2 WALT ROAD, PENNSBURG,
PA 18073 Cost Per Player $79 For Tournament and
Awards Breakfast Buffet. Please place cash or check in an evelope with your son's name and team on it and give it to Coach
Vinny ASAP. All players must arrive at the Perkiomen Prep School
Football Field (directions below) at least ONE hour prior to game time. Check-in at the Holiday Inn Conference Center
either before or after your game according to your game time (directions to field from hotel are below.) However, it
would be greatly appreciated if the players from all teams were at the other games to support one another. . GAME SCHEDULE
. There will be an award presentation after each game. All players
will receive a medal of participation and game MVP's will be selected. Please remember that the players' uniforms (practice and game) and all equipment will be collected after each game.
Players should bring warm clothes to the field to change into and a
labeled (with name and team) plastic bag to place practice and game uniforms as well as equipment into. . There
will be a Concession Stand open all day. Custom "Turkey Bowl" t-shirts will be available to purchase and may
be personalized with player's name and number. The Mohawks football community is truly going out of their way to make
this tournament an unforgettable experience. The Pennsburg, PA Police Dept., Fire Dept. and Mayor will be in attendance.
I am hoping that this "old school" football tournament will continue to be an annual tradition and for that, I need
your cooperation. . The Holiday Inn Conference Center has made available to us a banquet room
for our Awards Breakfast on Sunday morning from 10:30am to 12:30pm. All players must arrive Sunday morning in a dress
shirt and tie at 10:15am sharp so that the Awards Breakfast may start promptly. The league will pay for the breakfast
buffet for the players. The cost for parents and siblings is $14.00
per person and children 12 and under $8.00 (which includes all taxes and gratuities.) . All parents are responsible for booking their own rooms and should have done so by now. Players are to stay
with their parents. PARENTS ARE RESPONSIBLE

remember that the boroughs of East Greenville, Pennsburg and Red Hill are each about one mile long and run together along
Route 29 in Pennsylvania with East Greenville to the north, Pennsburg in the middle and Red Hill to the south.
Eleventh Street is the dividing line between the boroughs of Pennsburg and Red Hill. While the Upper
Perkiomen High School is actually located in Red Hill, the mailing address is Pennsburg. If you use Mapquest
you will not find it in Red Hill (18076) but you will find it in Pennsburg (18073). Directions from New York to Upper Perkiomen High School Football Field Follow 78 West into Pa. Stay on 78 West until you see 309 South. Follow 309 South into Quakertown. At Quakertown look for 663 South (MacDonald’s Restaurant is on the corner). Turn right onto Route 663 and travel about seven miles into Pennsburg until you see route 29 South (Dunkin’ Donuts is on the corner). Turn left onto 29 South. Go 7 blocks and turn right (just past the railroad bridge) onto 11th Street. Follow 11th Street three blocks to stop sign and Walt Road. Entrance to the high school and parking lot is on the left. Directions From the Hotel to Upper Perkiomen High School FieldLeave Hotel, back onto Route 100 South. Follow 100 South To 29 South. Routes 100 South and 29 South merge. Keep following this Route until you come to the village of Hereford. In Hereford, at the traffic light, light turn left onto 29 South. Follow 29 south to 11th Street in Pennsburg (about six miles). Once you turn onto Route 29 in Hereford, you will go through seven traffic lights and the borough of East Greenville. The seventh traffic light will be at Main Street and 8th Street in Pennsburg. Continue on Route 29 for three more blocks to 11th Street, which is just past the railroad bridge. Follow 11th Street three blocks to stop sign and Walt Road. Entrance to the high school and parking lot is on the left.
